Days Three & Four Investigate Work |
Lab Activity: In this activity student determine how much work the applied force does as they walk and then run up a flight of stairs. Additionally, students calculate the power in walking and running. Last, they determine their gravitational potential at the top of the stairs.
For analysis, students work with the different units for energy to "make sense" of the information.
